Description
This piece of work is a long coming tribute to Miyazaki Hayao and his masterpiece "Princess Mononoke". It is one of my favourite movies and I've watched it many times since I was a child.
About the artwork: sometimes, when the peaceful sunset shines on the valleys and forests of her homeland, the memories of the past battles and lost friends overwhelm San and her brothers. I pictured only one of her brothers, though the second one should be somewhere in the tall grass nearby.
I tried a very contrast lighting here, but I made a mistake painting the wolf's coat too dark (he actually has white fur >_>)
And I used almost same orange-red colours for sunset as here ioruko.deviantart.com/art/Lapu…, but I just love them, what can I do ^_^
